Cirropetalum

This is a very prolific bloomer, it’s one of my favorites and it’s very easy to grow.  Each umbel consists of approximately 10 flowers. The total diameter of the umbel is about 2 inches.

Broken Wrist

Posted Saturday, March 13th, 2010

While at the supermarket, I was blessed with the opportunity to pray for a woman who had broken her wrist.  Although the bone had healed, she was unable to completely close her hand, even though she goes to physical therapy three times a week.  I asked permission, and then laid hands on her wrist and spoke healing.  In the likeness of Jesus the Christ, I commanded the pain to go and for the fingers to close tightly.  She was able to close her  fingers more tightly, pain free.  She was very happy and encouraged.  Praise God!

Back Pain & Encouragement

Posted Saturday, March 13th, 2010

We went to the Promenade outdoor mall for a treasure hunt.  A treasure hunt, basically defined, is asking God for “clues” (prophetic revelations) that will lead to the “treasure” that God has hidden for us to find – someone who needs a revelation from Heaven.  We combine these “clues” on a piece of paper and write out a “treasure map”.   When we combined the “clues” from our “treasure maps”, we found a man with a “white beard” wearing “black jeans” in front of a “shoe store” that had a painting of a “sun” on the front window.  In addition, he walked with a cane which made us aware of the fact that he had a problem with ambulation.  We approached him and said that we were on a “treasure hunt”.  We showed him the “treasure maps” containing the “clues” that led us to him and pointed out that we thought he was our “treasure” based on the “clues” that God had given to us.   When we asked if we could pray for him, he agreed.  As we prayed, in the name and character of Jesus the Christ, the pain that he had in his lower back lessened.  We blessed him and parted ways.  He seemed happy, encouraged and in less pain.

We then searched further for more “clues” on our “treasure maps”.  We were looking specifically for a woman with “long straight blond hair” in front of the “Pita Pit” restaurant.  We found her, she was with her husband.  We told them that we were on a “treasure hunt” and showed them our “treasure maps” that led us to them. The husband laughed when he saw the “clue” “pickles” because they are his absolute favorite snack.  We then asked them if they needed prayer for anything.  They replied, “sure doesn’t everyone”, and they told us that “they were looking for a church”.  We told them about NC4, our home church, and another woman on the “treasure hunt” with us told them about her church also.  We then prayed/spoke blessing over their home, marriage and their finances.  When we left they were encouraged and inspired and so were we.  Praise God, He used us to reveal His Kingdom to the earth.

MS

Posted Saturday, March 13th, 2010

My wife Laurie and I were invited to pray for and to encourage a woman at her home – she had been diagnosed with MS.  After sharing testimonies, scriptures and prayer tecniques we layed hands on her and commanded healing in the name and character of Jesus the Christ.  While we ministered, she felt a “shock” in her right ankle.  We then asked her to do something that she could not do before we prayed.  She stood and walked with improved balance and was really encouraged.  She also had a better idea of how to pray for healing.  Glory to God!

Vertigo

Posted Saturday, March 13th, 2010

I was talking to a woman, and  she didn’t look too good, so I asked her what was wrong.  She told me that she was suffering from Vertigo, so I asked her if I could lay hands on her and speak healing.  She agreed, and I took authority over the Vertigo in the name and character of Jesus the Christ.  The symptoms of Vertigo left her body, Praise God!

MS/Encouragement

Posted Thursday, March 11th, 2010

My wife Laurie and I were at the supermarket.  I was in the sandwich line intending to purchase dinner.  There was a woman in line beside me who seemed despondent and distraught.  When I asked her if she was alright, she responded that she was having a hard time with MS.  I listened with sympathy, then I shared, with love and compassion, testimonies of individuals whom God had touched – they too had suffered  with the symptoms of MS.  I asked her if I could pray for her and she humbly declined.  I smiled and asked her what she had to loose, she once again declined, I then ordered sandwiches.  When the server handed me the completed order, the woman who had been diagnosed with MS approached me and tenderly thanked me for brightening her day and for instilling hope.  A seed was planted and with the love of God it will grow.

Testimony & More “Treasure Hunting”

Posted Thursday, March 11th, 2010

We went back to the mall on another treasure hunt.  A treasure hunt, basically defined, is asking God for “clues” (prophetic revelations) that will lead to the “treasure” that God has hidden for us to find – someone who needs a revelation from Heaven.  While we were there we ran into the woman who was our “treasure” from the last treasure hunt at the mall, she gave us a great testimony.  She told us that the night that we prayed for her she had slept great and has slept great ever since.  She told us that she wants to come back to church.  She also told us that her spine is doing great and that she has no pain.

Also while we were at the mall we were able to pray for a 92 year old woman who had been diagnosed with cancer.  We commanded the cancer to go in the name and character of Jesus.  We were able to give her words of encouragement.

On our way out of the mall we followed some clues on our “treasure map”; “book” and “yellow” and went into a book store where we overheard someone say that they were looking for the spiituality/new age section.  Our ears picked up and as we walked behind her, the aisle that she turned into had a yellow stand featuring an anti God book. She picked up a book by Sylvie Brown. Laurie told her that the book would be a bad book to buy and wrote down the name of the Bill Johnson book entitled, The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind. She was looking for a supernatural encounter and Laurie planted a Supernatural seed.  Praise His Holy Name!

Ribs and Gold Dust

Posted Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

My wife Laurie and I ministered at NC4, our home church.  A young man came to us, with his family, for healing prayer.  He has a sunken rib cage.  We laid hands on him and spoke healing in the name and character of Jesus the Christ.  He testified that his chest felt “warm” and he had a “little pain” as we ministered.  He told us that his ribs had “pushed out some”, and his parents agreed.  We thanked God and continued to speak healing.  As we prayed, I noticed gold dust on my hands.  When Laurie pointed it out to the others, they noticed that everyone in the prayer circle had gold dust on their hands as well.  This was the first time that this family had seen God’s manifest presence in the form of gold dust.  Praise God for His presence and His healing touch!

Injured Spine

Posted Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

We took some of the members of NC4, our home church, on a Miracle Waters Ministries/Supernatural Lifestyle adventure with God.  We went to the mall for a “Treasure Hunt”.  First we prayed as a group, then we broke into groups of five and asked God to give us prophetic clues that would lead us to the “treasure” that He had hidden for us to discover.  Our group combined the “clues”, prophetic revelations, from our “maps”, lists of prophetic revelations.  Our “clues” led us to a “shoe store”, that was next to “Debs”.  Between these two stores was an Easter display complete with “Easter eggs” another one of our “clues”.  While we were looking for the “treasure” a woman approached us and told us of an accident in which she was involved.  As a result of the accident she had an “injured spine”, yet another “clue”.  She was the “treasure”; God had led us to a person in need of a touch from Heaven!  We laid hands on her and spoke healing in Jesus name and character.  When we had finished ministering, she had no pain.  Praise God, this stuff is fun!  The other group also had a positive testimony.  We were able to bless individuals with the presense and power of God.
